He built a life in Emmetsburg with his wife, Amber Marie Cowell, and their five children: Hadley, Rayne, Aria, Alex, and newborn Rylan, who remains in the NICU in Sioux Falls.
Just two weeks before Nathan’s passing, Amber gave birth to Rylan. Despite his early arrival, Rylan continues to grow stronger, supported by Amber’s unwavering love and care. Now, while navigating NICU visits, Amber faces the unimaginable—grieving her husband while caring for their five children alone.
Nathan’s family and friends have shared heartfelt tributes, remembering his humor, strength, and boundless love.
