On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Megan was involved in a devastating golf cart accident at Lake Latonka, suffering severe injuries. Despite being quickly transported to Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland, Pennsylvania, and receiving the best medical care, she sadly passed away early the next morning.
